How to find me

Step 1: Find North Quad

North Quad is on State St. between Huron and Washington. Google Maps can get you here by car, bus, or foot.

If you’re driving, 2 hour street parking is sometimes available. The closest public parking garage is the Maynard Street garage. If you have a Blue or Gold tag, the closest U-M garages are Thayer, Fletcher, and Palmer (in that order).

Step 2: Find UMSI

Finding North Quad is only half the battle. Now you need to find the “Academic Tower,” which is the southernmost of the two “L”s that make up North Quad. Enter the courtyard, then enter the doors at the center of the south building. Take the elevators you see to the 4th floor.

Step 3: Find my office (4380)

When you exit the elevator, take a left (the only plausible direction) and then take a right to head down the hallway. Enter the first door on your right, which puts you in a large collaboration space (4370) with tables, chairs, couches, and stuff. My office is along the back wall of this space, towards the far end from where you would have entered.
